FULL SERVICE GENERAL MANAGEMENT

Architect Theatrical’s Services include: banking and cash management in accordance with budgets and cash flows; negotiating contracts for production staff, goods, and services; expert union negotiation; financial reporting; company payroll; consulting on marketing and advertising strategies; and providing general support for a production’s business and financial activities.

BUDGETING AND CASH MANAGEMENT

Architect Theatrical will prepare standard financial packages including Production and Weekly Operating Budgets, Royalty pools, Recoupment Schedules and Profit Potential. We oversee preparation of accounts, financial reporting, provide weekly Profit and Loss statements, and run payroll. We will also work with clients to tailor specific needs.

BOOKKEEPING AND YEAR-END REPORTING

For select productions, Architect Theatrical can produce year-end financial reports done to bookkeeping standards.

UNION RELATIONS AND NEGOTIATION

Architect Theatrical will negotiate directly with the theatrical unions to provide special agreements, as well as providing expert knowledge of any collectively bargained agreements for Broadway and Off-Broadway.

DIRECTOR AND CREATIVE SEARCH

Architect Theatrical will work closely with producers to determine the production’s needs. With our extensive database, we are able to assist in finding the right Director, Designers, and other key creatives to assemble a strong team.

BOX OFFICE REPORTING

Architect Theatrical will advise on pricing strategy and will oversee daily ticket sales, providing reports on sales and buying patterns.

PRESS AND MARKETING

Architect Theatrical will provide options for marketing and press representatives and will oversee campaigns and publicity.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Architect Theatrical will oversee all business affairs of the production, including but not limited to: taxes, accounts payable and receivable, union relationships, insurance, merchandising, and bookkeeping.

READINGS AND DEVELOPMENT

Architect Theatrical will advise on overall developmental strategies. For readings and workshops, AT will advise on the various developmental union guidelines, contracts and codes, create a budget, book an appropriate venue for rehearsals and presentations, hire key creatives and production staff, send out invitations to producer’s guests and an extensive industry list, and collect RSVPs. DTE staff will be on-site on the day of the presentation, checking in guests and providing general support.

CONSULTING

Architect Theatrical will work with Producers on an hourly basis to provide General Management consulting on a variety of subjects relating to the development of your show.
